Coloring tricks:
Use gray and a bit of blue for the armor, it stops it from looking flat right away.
Outline the sword with a darker shade after coloring, it makes it stand out more.
Try coloring the background too, a simple green ground and blue sky helps a lot.

Full suits of metal armor weighed fifty pounds, but the guys inside could actually still run and jump around.
Training to be a knight started at age seven: first as a page, then a squire, and finally a knight.
